Run for the Art

Doing art is as hard of a work as any other work. It's an exercise which you have to perfect every single day. I am combining my two favorite activities and merging them into the one, because we should live what we do. I made a land art piece, a straight line on the hill by running every day for a period of seven days. The idea behind this act is that you have to run for your dreams, put in the work because it's an everyday sprint, but uphill, it is a life time marathon that you have to endure and that's why I ran and recorded it every single time I ran(doing up to 10 -15 sprints a day) to get that piece of art happen. Video installation made of two projections: one showing the land art piece slowly going from the bottom of the hill to the top and the other one showing a mix of interlacing video captures from the act of running. Both meeting and interfering on the middle canvas.
